If your usual routine involves blow-drying first and then reaching for a flat iron, the Dyson Airstrait™ HT01 combines both steps using precisely controlled airflow instead of heated plates. The Dyson Hyperdymium™ motor drives 11.9 litres of air per second through the machine, creating up to 3.6kPa of pressure and directing the airflow downward at a 45° angle to generate the tension needed to smooth and align hair while it dries.

For more control across different routines, dedicated Wet and Dry modes provide tailored heat and airflow settings, while glass-bead thermistors regulate temperature up to 16 times per second to help prevent extreme heat exposure. Intuitive airflow detects when hair is between the arms and automatically reduces airflow when it is not, while the LCD screen shows styling mode, airflow and temperature settings and Auto Pause stops airflow after three seconds of inactivity.
