If cleaning hard floors usually means vacuuming first and mopping afterwards, the Dyson WashG1™ simplifies both jobs into one dedicated machine. Two highly absorbent, counter-rotating microfibre rollers simultaneously lift dry debris, hair, spills and dried-on stains without relying on vacuum suction, while 26 hydration points distribute clean water evenly across the full width of the rollers for consistent floor washing from start to finish.

For everyday messes and tougher cleaning jobs, three hydration levels let you control how much water reaches the rollers, while MAX mode provides additional hydration for stubborn stains such as dried food, coffee, sauces and toothpaste. Wet and dry waste are automatically separated into a dirty-water tank and removable debris tray for more hygienic disposal, and after cleaning, the 140-second Self-clean cycle flushes the system while the WashG1™ sits on its charging dock.

No. The WashG1™ is designed to pick up and separate both wet and dry debris, including dust and hair, so hard floors do not need to be vacuumed first.

Does the Dyson WashG1™ replace a vacuum cleaner?
